More Than a Shape —
It's a Design
Shape describes the outline. The cut describes how the facets work with light. Explore the difference between symmetry, pattern, depth and the way a stone looks when it moves.

What You See
vs. What You Receive
Know whether the photograph shows the exact gemstone you will receive or a reference example of a repeatable cutting design.
The Gemstone Photographed
For a clearly identified Ready-to-Ship item, the listing shows the specific stone being sold, including its actual measurements and photographs. Check the individual product page for any stated exceptions.
A Reference to the Design
For Made-to-Order and Backorder designs, reference photos show a sample of the intended cut, not the exact future stone. Finished color, light reflections, weight and small handmade details can vary within the agreed specifications.
Nominal millimeter sizes, estimated carat ranges and reference photographs are guides — not promises of an identical finished gemstone. Final specifications, allowed tolerances and production availability must be confirmed on the product or quote.
